The tough gets going. You know the old phrase, I mean, who doesn’t? So that’s what I’ve been doing…well sort of.
Last month I began moving more than I have in months. I started working out with a girlfriend of mine at home…with the help of minimal equipment and a few Youtube videos, I was well on my way.
For weeks I slaved away to FitnessBlender online. (No that’s not a typo, that’s how you spell it)
I also started logging my food on MyFitnessPal and so far I’ve lost a few inches, but only one stinking pound: ONE!
Initially I was pretty bummed, as you can imagine. I mean, who goes an entire month, and loses one pound? Right?!
Now that the initial shock has worn off, and I’m able to be honest with myself, I can truly say it all boils down to one word: CONSISTENCY.
I am the most consistently inconsistent person I know. Sad but true. I have zero problems jump starting things, and I do well for awhile, but then old habits start lurking.
First as thoughts, then as action. (like that chocolate chip cookie from Zoe’s I polished off last week)
As I mentioned previously, I’m ready for a change, and in order to get results you’ve never gotten, sometimes you have to do things you’ve never done.
